History: MatchCraft was founded by Uzi Eliahou, an entrepreneur and pioneer in online advertising; and Dorab Patel, PhD., a computer scientist and technological innovator. Together, the two created a market exchange system, matching buyers and sellers of online advertising. Dorab, along with a team of programmers, created a highly sophisticated technology system that was able to handle millions of keywords and scale across multiple search engines, beta tested on Overture/GoTo and Google APIs. As search engine marketing started to gain momentum around 2000, MatchCraft was in an ideal position to enter this emerging market. MatchCraft became one of the first SEM firms to focus specifically on local search marketing, providing the perfect solution for large sales organizations and advertisers.
