Aug 26, 2015 | Product News

We are excited to welcome Jade Mayberry to the MatchCraft Team today. Jade will be joining us as an account coordinator and will be responsible for supporting our partners and adding value to their programs.

The Marketing team sat down with her for a brief ‘Q&Jade’ to ask the questions that are on everyones mind…

Q: Tell us a little about yourself – where were you before this? Where did you go to school?

Jade: Well…my name is Jade and I was born in Italy, lived on the East coast for a while before making LA my home. I graduated from Westchester High and UCLA (Go Bruins!). I’m married to my high school sweetheart and my past position was at Guthy Renker as a production assistant.

Q: What movie or novel character do you most identify with?

Jade: Ahh, I shouldn’t answer this…is this going to be public?

Legally Blonde. I most identify with the character Elle Woods played by Reese Witherspoon. When I meet people, they tend to think I’m light and carefree but I’ve got a side that knows how to do things and get things done. I find the movie motivating and encouraging.

Q: Do you have a ritual or routine to the start off your work day?

Jade: Yes! I receive a text message everyday with scripture. I treat it as my horoscope for the day and try to think about it’s meaning throughout the day.

Q: What are some of your hobbies?

Jade: Dancing and frequenting the remaining Barnes and Noble book stores. I also love to attend “Simply Stylist” events that educate people on topics from creating a YouTube channel to graphic design workshops.

Q: How’d you know MatchCraft was the perfect fit?

Jade: I started meeting people that worked here through Adriana. I would always hear how great everything was from Becca. I like that fact that it’s a smaller company and there’s a lot of cross-departmental collaboration.

Q: What are you currently reading?

Jade: “AdWords for dummies”… I also enjoy reading the International versions of magazines like Vogue Spain, Elle Australia, they tend to cover a broader topic spectrum than the national ones, and I like to interpret what the article reads based on the pictures and what I know from that language.

Q: What’s something else that we should know?

Jade: I taught everyone at my last job to whip and nae nae. I’m also currently on a social media detox…I’m rebranding to make a huge comeback!
