Meet the MatchCraft Brazil Team

Funny thing about digital marketing – the demand for it, and interest in how to effectively scale it and get the most bang for your buck – well, it spans the globe!

MatchCraft’s team and services are no different. While we pride ourselves on our intelligent advertising platform, and our ability to conquer the hyperlocal advertising market, we know our greatest asset is our incredibly diverse, global team.

Greetings from Brazil!

We’ve been focusing on promoting different teams here, so you can get to know the faces behind the brand. Next up, MatchCraft’s Brazilian team!

Our Brazil office was born about three years ago (yes, we do in fact have a real office in Brazil!). We had been serving clients virtually for some time, but Brazil’s thriving tech scene and diverse business hub inspired us to kick things up a notch. After all, Brazil is home to businesses of all sizes and major corporate entities, such as Cisco, Facebook and Google have offices there.

MatchCraft’s two main team players for Brazil are Larisse and Luiz.

Together they tag team to ensure that clients are able to speak with real MatchCraft employees during their workday. Our global presence allows us to provide beneficial in-person meetings, timely strategy sessions, and exceptional service.

Business, with an International Flair

Luiz and Lari have come to know and embrace many of the cultural differences between doing business in the U.S. and Brazil. For one, Brazilians are (lovingly) famous for being late; the stress about arriving on-time is out the window.

Though, while Brazilians may not keep to the clock, they do tend to keep their promises. They are people of their word. And business dealings, generally, are quite informal compared to even the Western U.S.

“One of the things I love most about exploring a new market,” said Lari, “It’s seeing the market growing up. It starts off as a baby and then it develops into something. It’s nice to be a part of that.”

Lari returns to Brazil several times a year to maintain her connection to its culture and visit with her family.

For Luiz, he enjoys being the man on the ground in Brazil. He’s making relationships between MatchCraft and its clients blossom. His role allows him to witness clients’ advertising efforts take flight. In particular, Luiz is struck by just how friendly and sincere the clients are.

Once, Luiz mentioned to a prospective client that he admired a certain soccer team, and had wanted one of their jerseys, which were previously available only on a very limited basis. Upon meeting the prospect in person, Luiz was stunned—he was given a jersey straight from the prospective client’s personal wardrobe!

It’s that kind of experience—so much a part of the Brazilian culture!—that motivates the MatchCraft team to go above and beyond to deliver to our incredible, global clients.
