We are excited to welcome Chad Palsulich to the MatchCraft engineering team! Chad has joined the team as a software engineer and is responsible for continuing to evolve the platform architecture and develop new features and functionality to better support our partners.

The Marketing team sat down with him for a brief Q&A…

Q: Tell me a little about yourself – where were you before this? Where did you go to school?

Chad: Alright sure. I’m originally from Orange County (Fountain Valley) and now live here in West LA. In my last role, I worked for Panasonic Avionics as a Software Development Test Engineer. I studied computer science at UCI and participated on the anteater rowing team.

Q: Do you have a ritual or routine to the start off your work day?

Chad: Nothing too specific, I am not a coffee drinker. I usually try to make it to work as fast as possible after waking up; I live right down the street so I’m able to walk here, which is a plus.

Q: What movie or novel character do you most identify with?

Chad: The show Chuck is the first thing that comes to mind, I identify with the main character (Chuck).

Q: What are some of your hobbies?

Chad: I enjoy watching football and currently play fantasy football with friends. I play a few computer games, right now I’m into Rocket League (the one where cars play soccer).

Q: Did you win this week in Fantasy Football?

Chad: Nope, I lost this week…(smh).

Q: Ouch! So you’re only a few days in, initial thoughts on MatchCraft?

Chad: I am a big fan of the product, the office location and the people are great as well. In regards to the product itself, there has been an enormous amount of work and thought that has gone into every aspect of the platform, it’s very impressive.

Q: What are you currently reading?

Chad: Game of Thrones.

Q: What’s something else that we should know?

The Chad: Well, I’m already working on some minor interface changes and then will be on bigger projects as I start to ramp up.

Q: Favorite website?

Chad: A tie between Reddit and YouTube.
