We are excited to welcome seven new members to the MatchCraft team!
From Top left to right, we have Adam Jaffery, Joe Herman, & Avinash Karthaveerya. And on the bottom left to right, we have Farbod Pakravan, Vikky Mach, & Andres Olalla! And currently not pictured, we have Russell Tagge.
Adam, Farbod, and Andres has joined our enthusiastic Client engagement team, Joe and Avinash have been recruited into our diligent Engineering team, Vikky is now a part of our eccentric Marketing team, and Russell has jumped into our valued IT sector at MatchCraft.
The Marketing team sat down with a few members for a brief Q&A…
Andres Olalla
Q: Tell me a little about yourself – where were you before this? Where did you go to school?
A: Hola! My name is Andres, born in Argentina, raised in Santiago, Chile, with my sister Adriana; I spent my teens in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Los Angeles at 22. I’m married to a beautiful and talented woman, Rochelle, and we are co-raising an amazing young man, Carlos. I graduated from UC Davis–go Aggies!
Q: What are some of your hobbies?
A: My hobbies include bicycling, snowboarding, yoga, writing, producing and editing video–but only when I’m not traveling
Avinash Karthaveerya
Q: What are some of your hobbies?
A: I really enjoy playing Cricket on my spare time
Q: Favorite website?
A: I’m usually on Youtube, checking out new videos and popular ones I find on the frontpage
Joe Herman
Q: What TV show are you currently hooked on?
A: I must admit that I watch a number of shows. But I guess I’m most interested in seeing what happens in the show “Person of Interest” that just premiered for its last season. It has characters that I care about, lots of action and some thought provoking Artificial Intelligence discussions.
Q: What are you currently reading?
A: I am between books right now, but I recently started reading Raymond E. Feist’s sequels to the Riftwar Saga. I read the initial books in the serious many, many moons ago. It is a typical swords and sorcery type serious.
Vikky Mach
Q: What are some of your hobbies?
A: I’ve recently picked up on growing and caring for succulents. I’ve been slowly growing my terrarium collection and can’t get enough of them!
Q: What TV show are you currently hooked on?
A: Winter is coming haha! I’m hooked on Game of Thrones, House of Cards, and previously House with Hugh Laurie. I’m also re-watching a lot of Whose Line is it Anyways whenever I get the chance to.
